“Sully” is a Minneapolis-based musician and teacher known for his deep dedication to the art of teaching cello. With a passion for nurturing students' growth, he creates a safe and supportive environment where passions, questions, and challenges are embraced and encouraged. His studio embodies core principles of mindful practice, open communication, mutual respect, and constructive feedback, ensuring each student thrives on their own unique musical journey. Sully enjoys jumping right into technique and tonal qualities with the cello while providing a fun and integrated experience, believing that persistence, a positive attitude, respect, and overall enjoyment are key teaching principals.
In his spare time Sullivan enjoys walking his 2 dogs, boating and fishing, tending his aquariums, and spending time with family and friends. He is delighted to work with the wonderful faculty at K&S and really looks forward to working with you!
