WORDS TO DESCRIBE MY TEACHING STYLE
Flexibility with focus on correct technique and basics.

Dean likes to give students the tools to reach their individual goals. With younger students Dean likes to make sure they first learn the basics of note reading and music theory and then once the basics are learned he helps students seek out and learn the music that most interests them. He has a very flexible teaching style that ensures that every student has a positive learning experience.

Dean performs locally with his band Mill City Hot Club and other local musicians. He likes spending time fixing up his old house and walking in the woods with his dog Roxi.
