Medal Whop by Gene Swanson

Medal Whop is about a squirrel journey. It starts out with a squirrel entering the cage to get the peanut butter and "Whop!" The door closes. The music has angst in the first half as the squirrel realizes "Yum yum, peanut butter!" and "Oh, no! I can't get out!" In the second half of the piece the music sounds like you're floating as the squirrel gets transported in the car. At the end, there's a closing chord. This is when the cage door opens! The squirrel jumps out of the cage at the nature center and starts its new life after being relocated.
