Thought-provoking
Bill has a lot of experience teaching a variety of students both private and in a group setting. He also has extensive experience as a performer in big band jazz groups. All this experience helps him teach a variety of different styles.
In lessons, Bill works with the student to get to the heart of the technical and/or musical issues that can help the student get the most out of their practicing and performing. Bill encourages his students to listen to a wide variety of music. He also works with the student to make sure they know how and what to practice at home.
In his spare time, he enjoys black and white film photography.
