Brian has 30+ years of teaching experience and performance experience covering a wide range of styles. Brian enjoys teaching a variety of styles in his lessons, incorporating jazz and popular music in lessons where appropriate and according to the interest of students. 

A typical lesson will start with a short embouchure warm-up followed by scales or patterns for a total of about a 5-10 minute warm-up.  After that, exercises and etudes for about 10 minutes followed by duets and repertoire for another 10 minutes or so.

In his spare time Brian enjoys cooking and traveling.
